  • Our staff discount scheme saves you money on supermarket shopping, gym memberships, holidays and more

  • All our academies start every term with an additional INSET day set aside for your own planning (in addition to the usual five INSET days - giving you eight in total)

  • At least one guaranteed paid personal day each year, to use as you want

  • We provide high quality training and development for every stage in your career

  • Every teacher benefits from a bespoke development plan to support your progression and aspirations

  • We give you access to a high-quality curriculum with excellent resources

  • A feedback policy focused on whole class feedback - no onerous marking policies.

  • An unrivalled professional progression model to enable great teachers to remain in the classroom via our Lead Practitioner route and/or progression routes to middle and senior leadership.

  • An opportunity to work with the Trust's subject Advisor, have a full and well implemented curriculum and resources to work with, and be able to network with subject leaders across the whole trust.

  • A beautiful location in the heart of rural Somerset

  • About You:

    You will be:
  • A highly effective leader with excellent subject knowledge and an excellent track record of outstanding teaching and learning

  • See tasks, plans and ideas through to completion with a relentless focus on high standards.

  • Someone who passionately believes that all children can achieve, no matter what their starting point, background or needs. Someone that does not make excuses for what children can achieve.

  • Up to date with the latest curriculum developments

  • We actively welcome visits and would be delighted to show you around our academy to fully appreciate our excellent learning environment.
