In this role you will develop and deliver the Talent & Performance agenda across EMEAA contributing to IHG's global talent, OD & DE&I strategy. Working with leadership teams to embed strong performance and talent practices that differentiate top talent, build strong talent pipelines and an inclusive culture.

Your day to day

  • Oversee the delivery of the talent and performance for the EMEAA Region (Corporate and Hotels) including the implementation of new tools and practices.

  • Collaborate as part of the Global Talent & Diversity teams, sharing insights and proposing initiatives to shape the IHG wide Talent and Diversity strategies.

  • Oversee the delivery of any cultural interventions including the annual colleague heartbeat cycle and initiatives aimed at enhancing colleague experiences.

  • Deliver the regional Hotel Operations talent agenda to strengthen our company managed hotel talent pipeline and ongoing development of GM and ExCom talent and contribute towards the initial and ongoing discovery & design of the HR Owner Offer across our franchised and owned & leased estates.

  • Oversee the Regional DE&I approach, supporting the delivery of the BU DE&I action plans to embed the Global DE&I Strategy.

  • In partnership with the SVP HR EMEAA, run regional talent boards and reviews with an emphasis on the EMEAA leadership population at EC+1 and EC+2, supporting talent retention and pipeline health for critical roles., At IHG we give our colleagues greater flexibility and balance - working in a hybrid way, blending remote and office working.   • Outstanding track record of developing and delivering end to end performance and talent agenda and creating impactful talent solutions in multinational context.

  • Evidence that contributions have resulted in a step change/strengthening of talent pipeline.

  • Organisation Design experience - either as a HRBP or an OD specialist.

  • An outstanding relationship builder able to collaborate at all levels - inspires peers and brings people with them.

  • Strong people leader and develop - reputation of being a role model around developing, growing and inspiring team members.

  • Credibility with senior stakeholders and work with business leadership teams.

  • Ability to create own direction and use initiative.

  • Recent evidence of how to facilitate change combined with a passion to drive more inclusive culture.

  • Analytical mindset - actively uses data to form insights and build business cases.

  • Experience of working in a multinational organisation - understanding of how to get things done in a complex environment and comfortable working and influencing virtually.

  • Practical outlook - high standards but has a strong 80/20 mindset and can deliver at pace.

  • Hunger to continuously learn and understand best practice, latest thinking and build networks externally.
