THE ROLE The Head of English will ensure that high-quality learning takes place, and that outstanding attainment and progress are secured at all key stages as well as ensuring the English Department is led at the same high standard across all teaching. The duties outlined in the job description are in addition to those covered by the latest School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document and subject to any amendments due to government legislation.
