Full Job Description

The University of Oxford is seeking an exceptional Head of Digital to lead the Estates Services Department's digital transformation journey. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of the world's most prestigious university estates, integrating cutting-edge technologies across historic landmarks, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a diverse property portfolio. As Head of Digital, you will:

  • Develop and deliver a visionary digital strategy, paving the way for Oxford's Smart Campus initiative.
  • Champion the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and interoperability across legacy and modern systems.
  • Drive data transformation, consolidating disparate estates data into a cohesive digital framework.
  • Lead the transfer of estates data into BIM, ensuring alignment with BIM standards and industry best practices.
  • Enhance the management and accessibility of estates data, bringing together fragmented databases to deliver a unified and robust digital estate.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the University to embed transformative change.
  • Build and lead a high-performing digital team to position Oxford as a global leader in modern estate management., Driving estates digital transformation, including system integration and Smart Campus technologies.
  • Delivering data transformation to support operational excellence and sustainability.
  • Implementing BIM and ensuring seamless transfer and integration of estates data.
  • Consolidating and modernising disparate estates databases into a unified digital system.
  • Leading change in complex organisations and inspiring stakeholder collaboration.
