Head of Finance

A leading TV & Film company is currently looking for a talented Head of Finance or FD with TV/entertainment industry experience to join their busy finance team. This highly successful, and award-winning business, has various interests within the TV & Film industry and continues to grow, with offices in both the UK & US. The company is well known for producing critically acclaimed titles that have been well-received by audiences around the world and has some exciting plans in place for the next few years to continue evolving its ever-growing portfolio. Reporting to, and fully supporting the CFO, this position will oversee the finance team and the day-to-day finances of the business alongside involvement in projects. You will liaise and support the Senior & divisional management teams to help to drive the continued success of the business. Quarterly group consolidations Oversight of the production finances Financial modelling & commercial planning Team management & development To be a suitable candidate it is essential that you are a fully qualified accountant with extensive post-qualified experience gained within the TV/Film/Content production industry. You will have a sound knowledge of both technical and commercial accounting and the adaptability to work with a variety of personalities. You will be an exceptional communicator and have the ability to help drive change alongside managing the BAU. This role will initially be a-month contract with a view to going permanent for the right person. You will be required to work in their central London offices-4 days a week.
