Head of Finance Shared Service Centre

Eaton Syalon has been exclusively engaged to support the recruitment of a Head of Finance Shared Service Centre for a leading organisation in the charity sector.

As Head of Transactional Finance this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and strategic leader to shape financial transactions and processes and drive improvements and automation. You will oversee key transactional functions - including accounts payable, credit control, cash allocation, and billing, leading a team to deliver exceptional service to the group.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the transactional finance teams with 4 team leader level reports, ensuring continuous training and development.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

Own key projects including business improvement

Key contact for auditors to facilitate audits.

Oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger activities.

Our client is seeking an incredibly strong manager of people, in particular demonstrable experience managing transactional finance functions. You will need strong business change projects experience within a shared service centre setting along with well developed IT skills. The ability to build strong wider business working relationships is key along with a passion for automation and efficiency creation.
