St Austell Brewery, renowned for our award-winning beers and exceptional pubs, is seeking a talented Head of Food to spearhead the evolution of our dining offerings. With an enviable managed estate of 45 stunning pubs located in some of the most beautiful settings in the South West, we are looking for a dynamic leader who brings a passion for food and a strong drive for excellence and innovation., · Proven experience in a senior food development or kitchen management experience, including compliance, training, dish development.

· Excellent menu planning and budgeting knowledge.

· Creative and proactive with a real ability to think strategically, does not accept the status quo and will challenge precedent where appropriate.

· An excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively and part of a team.

· Great attention to detail and highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment

· A natural networker and collaborator - able to work across functions to ensure plans have buy-in across the whole managed estate

· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach, inspire, and develop a diverse team of kitchen and operational staff.

· Demonstrable experience in menu design, food costing, and financial management.

· Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.

· Knowledge of current food health trends, legislation, and sustainability practices.

· Ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage large-scale food development projects.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Strong business and commercial acumen - constantly consider the impact on the food commercials on the business

· Strong project management skills, proven ability to plan and manage effectively to deliver projects consistently on time and to the commercials required. This role requires a candidate who is happy to roll up sleeves and get involved with the "doing" as well as the leading

· Salary: £60,000 - £75,000
