The Head of Food and Beverage is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the F&B department within the venue. This leadership role focuses on maintaining exceptional service standards, ensuring strict adherence to food safety protocols, and driving revenue growth. The position requires a strong emphasis on effective control systems, team development, and the overall guest experience.   • Contribute to the venue's strategic plans and objectives as part of the Senior Management Team, providing inspired direction for the F&B department.
  • Assist in developing and delivering the business plan by optimizing revenue streams, maximizing cost efficiencies, and implementing innovative strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to F&B SOPs, manage administrative duties (cash handling, stock management, reporting), and oversee event setups, bar areas, and restaurant services.
  • Implement and monitor food safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, HACCP procedures, and the company's Food Safety Management System.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the F&B team, ensuring efficient staffing for events and compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

    Experience of working in a senior role in a similar, high volume, customer focused venue.
  • Holder of a Personal Licence (Desirable)
  • Level 3 Award in Food Safety for Catering.
  • Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness and Control in Catering.
  • Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering.
  • Knowledge of the local and regional entertainment offers and venues.
  • Sound knowledge of budgeting, stock and margin control.
  • Ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to work flexibly.
  • Experience in the management of statutory requirements.
