Head of Fundraising

(Please see full job description attached) Job purpose: The post-holder is responsible for developing the Charitys long term fundraising and income development strategy; and supporting a business plan that supports the Trusts long term objectives. The role has strategic and operational responsibility for optimising income generation whilst ensuring the Charity complies with the law and regulations in respect of its fundraising function. Acting as an ambassador for the Charity, the head of fundraising also provides a public face to campaigns and builds relationships with stakeholders in and outside the Trust. The role is a key link between the charity and internal and external stakeholders, and plays a key part in motivating and engaging volunteers, staff, beneficiaries and prospective donors.
