Head of Geography - Full-time

The Geography Department is crucial to the school's long term success and we are looking to appoint a Head of Department to improve the department. The ideal candidate will be an innovative teacher with a proven track record of success in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4 and the potential to teach at Key Stage 5. You must be able to provide evidence of successful teaching strategies and excellent organisational skills.
Candidates interested in the Head of Department position should also possess proficiency in data analysis and a readiness to take responsibility for the Geography curriculum, its assessment and be keen to enhance teaching and learning practices.

The Royal Harbour Academy is proud to be part of the Coastal Academies Trust (https://www.coastalacademiestrust.co.uk/) a local multi-academy trust of three other secondary schools and a large primary school. The Royal Harbour Academy has two large sites located on the Kent coast, with a sunny climate and affordable housing, yet only 50 minutes by train from central London.
