The HSE team at NSS Group is dedicated to supporting our four operating divisions (Maintenance, Cleaning, Testing and Hire) with a proactive approach to work in the safest and most responsible way. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing initiatives that drive health, safety, and environmental excellence across the organisation. Your strategic insight and deep understanding of regulatory standards will be essential in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.   • Develop and execute a comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the HSE team, ensuring cohesive collaboration and alignment with the company's vision.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Ensure consistent quality in products/services and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety management systems.
  • Promote workplace health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of environmental management systems in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
  • Develop and oversee environmental policies and programs to minimise the company's environmental footprint.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability practices.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Lead internal and external audits, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE practices and principles.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to measure HSE performance.
