Full Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated HR professional to lead the HR function within Haringey GP Federation; a dynamic, younger organisation dedicated to the provision of high quality primary and community healthcare in Haringey.

The role will be key in progressing our People Strategy including enhancing colleague experience throughout the employment life cycle and supporting the development of the knowledge of HR processes and skills across the organisation. They will provide expert advice to the Executive Management Team and support to all levels of the organisation in the management of HR related matters.

The successful candidate will have first class generalist HR skills and excellent communication abilities. They will be highly effective in applying theory to practice and in implementing change. They will have worked in dynamic service industries (optimally but non-essentially within healthcare) and have a proven track record in managing teams, positively influencing others and maintaining a strong and positive culture.

We are the Haringey GP Federation, an innovative and ambitious organisation working with 34 member practices across seven primary care networks in the diverse and vibrant borough of Haringey in north London.

Our vision is to support the people of Haringey to be healthier and happier. We do this by strengthening, innovating, and advocating for strong and sustainable General Practice in Haringey as well as by delivering services at scale and in partnership with health, social care and the voluntary sector. We are a people-centred and values-driven organisation which places our patients, practices and people at the centre of a happy, healthy, inclusive Haringey. Our values are core to who we are and how we work.

We are proud of all that we have achieved since our inception in 2016. From hosting and managing the Training Hub for North Central London and delivery of specific training for practice and primary care staff, to the focussed work we do to tackle health inequalities and promote inclusion within the communities we serve, our team has earned a strong reputation for providing best practice primary care services at scale and has repeatedly won external recommendation and commendation for the work we do.
