Full Job Description

The Global Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) function within Balance Sheet Management in Corporate Treasury is part of Citigroup's broader Finance organisation. FTP's specific responsibilities cover the following:

  • Establishes and oversees the policies under which business assets and liabilities are transfer priced for interest rate, capital and liquidity requirements.
  • Engages in cross functional workstreams to design, enhance, and evolve frameworks and methodologies for attributing FTP costs and benefits to businesses.
  • Executes firm-wide transfer pricing processes in line with established policies, procedures, and control requirements.
  • Designs and implements the methodologies for attributing capital usage to businesses.
  • The Head of International FTP is a Director responsible for leading a team to drive the execution of the global FTP framework for international entities. Responsibilities include governance and oversight, implementation of controls, and stakeholder management with local stakeholders (e.g., businesses, country treasurers) in close coordination with the broader FTP organisation. This role will be an integral member of the FTP leadership team. The FTP Director exhibits in-depth knowledge of bank balance sheet management and the evolving regulatory landscape impacting a bank's management of interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital. Requires a thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the firm and function. Excellent communication skills required in order to influence and lead, often at a senior level. The FTP Director will have a high level of visibility within the organisation and will partner with key stakeholders including but not limited to the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Technology, and Financial Planning & Analysis. What you'll do
  • Serve as a senior point of contact with local stakeholders including businesses, country treasury teams, risk & other finance functions.
  • Manage and oversee FTP execution across international entities in partnership with Global FTP Business Execution Head.
  • Support global FTP methodology team as needed to navigate local considerations.
  • Prepare, support & present to management recurring and ad hoc analysis & related to FTP policies, implementation & monitoring.
  • Review and improve implementation of FTP policies and procedures across international entities including controls & monitoring with proactive escalation to senior mgmt. as appropriate.
  • Lead key FTP transitions and strategic efforts to enhance FTP framework and systems in line with the Firm's strategy.
  • Act as a key member of the FTP leadership team ensuring strategic platforms are built in the most efficient, controlled and flexible way to carry out the FTP platform.

    Experience in Financial Services, Treasury, and/or ALM with managerial experience required.
  • Extensive experience in Funds Transfer Pricing policies & execution and Asset Liability Management.
  • Experience in managing complex end-to-end processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and support matrix managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively solution complex and dynamic processes.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with limited oversight.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Previous experience interacting and working with executive leaders.
  • Experience leading projects of significant change covering strategy, operations, and process ranging from operational change management to business-wide transformation.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, passion for results and personal accountability for achievement.
