Head of Kitchen

The Governors of the school are looking to appoint a Head of Kitchen to manage our school meals service. You will ensure that a high-level catering service is delivered by managing all aspects of service delivery. You will work closely with our external Catering Provider and your colleagues within Focus-Trust. You will be responsible for :

• Ensuring that a high-level catering service is delivered.
• All aspects of service delivery, including ordering, preparation, production and service.
• Ensuring that hygiene and health and safety stands are met and maintained.
• Complying with allergen and COSHH legislation and requirements.
• Line managing the Catering Team.
• Attending meetings as required.
• Ensuring that your team's training is relevant and up to date.
• Completing paperwork, and using IT equipment as appropriate, such as to input food orders.
