This is an exciting opportunity to join the multi award-winning Marketing and Creative Services team at NHS Blood and Transplant. You will be taking on a high-profile role, leading a team to deliver the annual marketing programme to increase the number of people donating whole blood, plasma, platelets and stem cells nationwide. This is a business critical, fast paced role, which requires drive and resilience to deliver stretching targets In this senior role, you will be working with peers across the Donor Experience and Communications Directorates to lead and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels. You will champion strategic thinking, innovation and creativity to achieve our goals. You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, partners, government and international peers. Note: This is a national vacancy across England, with a base location assigned at one of NHSBTs nationwide centres., In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of a high profile, year-round, marketing programme to motivate people to give transfusion/blood products (including whole blood, plasma and platelets) to meet challenging business targets. Responsibilities include: Working with the Head of Marketing and Evaluation to develop the annual marketing strategy Accountable for the procurement and management of specialistic marketing agencies, performance managing outputs and driving a culture of innovation, cross agency working and value for money. Working with colleagues to develop deep customer insight, draw on behavioural science and use campaign learnings to inform planning. Leading the team to create engaging creative platforms that can work across channels Leading the team to build data driven media and channel planning to engage our target audiences effectively and efficiently, seeking innovations and making use of new and emerging channel developments.
Leading the team to develop integrated marketing campaigns working closely with other channel leads to create a seamless donor experience. Responsible for driving continuous campaign optimisation and working with the Head of Planning and Evaluation to lead rigorous evaluation of all activity to inform future planning and drive a culture of performance marketing. Leading the team to expertly respond to challenging and emerging business needs.
