Full Job Description

  • Report to the Sales and Marketing Director in this high-profile client role, entailing all aspects of marketing for Acosta Europe and its associated brands.
  • Work alongside the Sales and Marketing Director, Heads of Services and Board of Directors to understand and articulate the technology led, unique market proposition to current and potential customers. To become THE industry expert with clear, added value thought leadership communication to customers.
  • Utilise modern collateral and channels to build our presence with key stakeholders, including attendance at key customer networking events, with the aim of increasing inbound interest in Acosta Europe's services.
  • Ownership of all Acosta Europe websites. Clearly communicate our unique technology led solutions and ensure that material is up to date and refreshed, to drive increased traffic, including the use of pro-active customer communications and social media.
  • Create and implement an annual plan of key retail events, with clear messaging around how the Group's services can add value to customers.
  • Work in partnership with the Business Development team to create a bespoke marketing plan, to support our growth aspirations in identified growth channels and clients.
  • Work alongside the Head of Business Development and Sales Director to support strategic commercial proposals, incorporating the latest innovative approaches to presenting our proposition vs. PowerPoint.
  • Work alongside the People team to create a professional TUPE induction pack to the Group to onboard new teams.
  • Lead and develop the current Acosta Europe marketing colleagues, ensuring that all objectives are met and development plans are in place.
  • Establish a cross-functional network with wider customer facing BUC team, to understand and deliver bespoke customer marketing requirements.
  • Deliver training to the wider Client team on all aspects of social media, to support accelerated messaging of Acosta Europe's services across our client base.
  • Track and monitor the Group's online presence ensuring that we have a larger online voice vs. our competition.
  • Lead by example by delivering all aspects of the role to a high standard, with integrity, passion and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to quickly understand and adapt to changes within clients, building and sustaining deep contact strategies up to and including Board-level contacts.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects to deliver additional value propositions to our clients.
  • Identify 'big' data sources that can add value to Acosta Europe's offering.

    Proven ability to create and implement a clear and concise group marketing vision, supporting our long-term growth aspirations.
  • Ability to execute the Group strategy with limited expenditure.
  • Experience of working with multiple marketing platforms, associated software and external agencies.
  • Preferred
  • Experience of field marketing / marketing agency sector, along with a proven track record of dealing directly with customers within T4 Grocery, Convenience and OOH sectors.
  • Experience of working within both existing customer management and new business development.
