Head of Mathematics (Secondary Department)

• Lead the Maths Department, overseeing and providing guidance to a small team of up to two additional staff members.
• Prepare teaching materials, set up the classroom and organise displays supporting the current curriculum
• Nurture and counsel learners and help them make sense of their intellectual, emotional and social needs
• Talk to parents/carers about their children's progress
• Follow safeguarding procedures and work with outside agencies to support the pupils learning
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school's policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school's values and vision.
