Full Job Description

Are you looking for your next challenge? Are you passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential? We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Netball to join us in January/April or September 2025.

Nottingham High School is rich in tradition and has been educating children for more than 500 years. Most important, it is a community and the people who work here believe that they can make a difference to the young people they teach. If you would like to join an academic and inclusive school, where we enable teachers to be the best that they can be, then we would love to hear from you.

This role comes with a management point and time allowance.

The successful individual is expected to make a full contribution to the School's extra-curricular programme. Due to the nature of the role, this will also include pre-season training, after school & weekend sports team practices and fixtures, plus tours and overnight residentials. Progression through County and national schools' competitions may also see fixtures taking place in the school holiday.

Our staff benefit from a comprehensive CPD programme as well as competitive employee benefits.

The closing date is 1pm on Monday 2nd December 2024.

Please note that if you apply here on TES there is no need to send a separate copy of your application form to the School as well.

No standalone CVs or agencies please.

Nottingham High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and any appointment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure as well as any other pre-employment checks. In addition, Nottingham High School does not hold a sponsor licence and does not have current plans to obtain one. Applicants must be aware of their individual responsibility to provide the necessary documents to confirm the right to work in the UK as a part of our pre-employment checks.
