Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and revolutionize operational efficiency within NHS organisations? As the Head of Operational Excellence, you'll drive strategic direction, develop and deliver top-tier consulting services, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders-all while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. This exciting role offers the opportunity to travel and make a significant impact across various corporate functions. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with ideal candidates based in London, Leeds, or Manchester, though we're open to other locations. What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and manage consulting projects focused on operational excellence within corporate functions in the NHS.
  • Drive pipeline development and business development activities, including proposal writing and presentations to potential clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with NHS clients to identify challenges and opportunities within their operations.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, methodologies, and tools for operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and relevance in consulting practices.
  • Oversee the delivery of consulting engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage the practice business, financial and commercial performance.

  • Extensive consulting experience in corporate functions, focusing on operational excellence, within the NHS or healthcare sector.
  • Proven success in leading consulting projects and managing teams.
  • Expertise in change management and process improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
