Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the operational delivery of our client's contracted services, ensuring all activities are safe, compliant, and aligned with statutory, mandatory, and contractual requirements., This vital role will encompass overseeing Cleaning output and standards, Engineering service delivery, Catering services, and Security, all while ensuring that these services evolve to meet the client's changing needs and portfolio. As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services not only meet but exceed client expectations. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining high standards of compliance and safety across all operational areas, from direct engineering services to catering and workplace management. This role offers an opportunity to drive operational excellence, adapting and evolving our services to support the client's current and future needs.,

  • Ensure all services within their accountable areas are delivered safely and compliantly, meeting the legal and contractual needs, whilst adhering to ISS and client standards
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team within the Operations direct and indirect line management, with support of business Subject Matter Experts, where required
  • Accountable for assurance and compliance to contractual SLAs/KPIs and associated reporting processes within their remit
  • Accountable for setting objectives, professional development and managing performance of their team to meet the business and client needs
  • Primary stakeholder and point of contact for internal business deliveries for operational output and performance, including Engineering, Cleaning, Catering, Security and Workplace

    Extensive experience in a management role within an FM environment
  • Experience as a people leader within a technical environment
  • Understanding of commercial and contractual requirements, including interpretation of key deliverables
  • Core understanding of statutory and legal deliverables across a technical remit
  • P&L ownership for up to £5m+
  • Collaborative, innovative and emotionally intelligent leader
  • Client facing, engendering trust and positive client experience and feedback
  • Values driven leader who drives and supports cultural change
