Full Job Description

The Head of Operations - Pathology Services is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical and operational functions of the services. The Head of Operations, Pathology Services will collaborate with key stakeholders, the Clinical Operations Director, the Chief Nurse, the Medical Director and our consultants, to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.,

  • Lead the operational management and delivery of Pathology care services, which includes all aspects of the Pathology services including Biochemistry, Transfusion Services, Heamatology, Stem Cell, Histopathology. To provide high performing and effective services that are responsive to patient and consultant needs. Oversee the end to end delivery of pathology services Ensure that services are delivered effectively, efficiently and within financial budgets. Participate in the Silver On-Call rota. Accountable for delivering the strategic objectives, promoting innovation, supporting operational excellence and capitalising on growth opportunities across the services.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Operations - Pathology Services to join our Pathology Services. Our laboratories at 116-120 Harley Street provide a comprehensive range of laboratory investigations. In addition to the diagnosis of a wide range of diseases, our Pathology department is actively involved in therapeutic drug monitoring, blood grouping and transfusion and haemopoietic stem cell cryopreservation.
