Full Job Description

At Nottingham CityCare Partnership (CIC) we are passionate about our mission to make a difference every day to the health and wellbeing of our communities. As Head of Organisational Development, you will lead the Organisational Development and Inclusion agenda across our organisation, playing a pivotal role in helping us to deliver exceptional healthcare to our communities through our people.

After a period of change within our People, Communications and Inclusion Directorate this is an exciting time to be joining CityCare to help us to develop and drive forward our people strategy. You will be responsible for the delivery of a large element of the people agenda with a focus on embedding a culture of collaboration, inclusion, positive colleague experience, engagement, wellbeing and outstanding quality.

You will have a track record of leadership within organisational development and inclusion, working with leaders and colleagues across the organisation to ensure that everyone is treated well, can do their best work, feel valued and fulfil their potential.

It is expected that you will have the ability to articulate and create a culture of development, belonging and inclusion at all levels, gaining co-operation and commitment throughout the organisation and with wider system partners.

Main duties of the job

This is a new role within our structure and is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark as a senior leader in our people team. You will:

Bring the People Promise to life across CityCare.

Lead on Staff Engagement, Experience and Voice including the annual Staff Survey.

Drive our Inclusion agenda forward, fostering a sense of belonging.

Support us to embed a Just and Learning Culture, underpinned by Psychological Safety and Civility and Respect.

Build on our current Management and Leadership Development offers.

Champion Staff Health and Wellbeing.

You will provide specialist expertise in embedding a diverse and inclusive workplace and culture, and an approach to health and wellbeing that improves employee health and experience. You will lead a progressive organisation development programme that enables a culture of adaptive transformation, civility, compassionate leadership, promotes a learning culture, enhanced employee engagement and psychological safety.

Working closely with the wider People Services team, you will be responsible for undertaking deep dive analysis into the experience of work, for example, staff surveys and pulse surveys and determining appropriate actions to address emerging themes. Using this information, you will use excellent consulting skills to devise and design on cultural change and continuing organisational improvement.
