Full Job Description

The Head of People & Culture (HR Function) is responsible for all People & Culture activities including but not limited to Recruitment, Development, Performance management process Employment Issues, Compensation & Benefits and Employment Law. As the Head of P&C, you will be a key member of the UK and Ireland senior management team and provide, support direction and advice on all strategic and operational aspects of People & Culture.,

  • Support the Safety together culture at Nordex
  • Be a role model for all staff for our Values and Behaviours
  • Ensuring the P&C team is providing business partner services on P&C related topics
  • Development, reviewing and implementation of P&C Strategies
  • Owning end to end payroll process
  • Coaching and development of the UK & Ireland People & Culture team
  • Creating and executing policies that align to the overall business strategy
  • Building a positive work environment and leading on any conflict resolution
  • Developing and delivering performance management processes that meet the needs of the business
  • Ensuring HR compliance with local laws and company standards
  • Develop, administrate and modify compensation, benefits and performance management systems in alignment with Corporate People & Culture
  • Developing a comprehensive benefits and incentives offering for our people
  • Development and Tracking of HR Metrics to ensure accurate reporting and identification of trends
  • Overseeing talent management, training and development initiatives as well as employee engagement and performance management
  • Reviewing HR processes and procedures to ensure the P&C team delivers the best service to its employees
  • Supporting the business with budgetary forecasting for its people
  • Developing and maintaining a clear "change management" process for the region
  • Developing and maintaining apprenticeship programmes for the region
  • Developing and maintaining graduate programmes for the region
  • Stay up to date on latest P&C trends with UK/Ireland and regularly communicate to Senior Leadership team

    The successful candidate will have significant experience in a HR Leadership role, preferably with experience of working in an international based organisation. You will also hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management.
  • You will have an in-depth knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law and have experience of developing HR strategies that alight with our business goals. You will have experience of coaching and developing your team to deliver the best guidance and support to the business and be creative in finding and implementing solutions. Other key attributes required for this role include:
  • Proactive individual who leads by example
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation and creative in finding and implementing solutions
  • Ability to travel - within region and internationally
  • Can do attitude with the ability to deal with a number of issues running concurrently
  • Good facilitation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills required (MS Office; SAP is a plus)
  • UK/Ireland driving licence
