Full Job Description

Forming part of the senior management team, the core purpose of this role is to be support the leadership and management team for the school. This will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school's work.

To teach pupils across the full age and ability range present in the school 8-18 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of students achievement, personal development and wellbeing. Support students with PE, Forest School and outdoor education activities on and off site.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the vision for the school is clearly articulated, shared, understood and acted upon effectively by all.

  • Work within the school community to translate the vision into agreed objectives and operational plans, which will promote and sustain school improvement.

  • Demonstrate the vision and values in everyday work and practice.

  • Motivate and work with others to create a shared culture and positive climate.

  • Ensure creativity, innovation and the use of appropriate new technologies to achieve excellence.


  • You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising pupils as they explore further afield.
