Head of Performance & Improvement

We are looking for a Performance and Improvement Lead for the Families First Programme for a fixed-term period of 9 months.

• Developing and Delivering Performance Frameworks: Lead on the development and delivery of a robust performance management framework for Families First.
• Championing Continuous Improvement: Develop and champion our approach to continuous improvement.
• Crafting Strategies and Policies: Lead on the development and maintenance of departmental strategies, policies, and procedures for Families First.
• Amplifying Service User Voices: Ensure that service users' voices at the heart of our performance and improvement journey.
• Optimizing Data and Performance Functions: Ensure the most appropriate configuration of data and performance functions across the directorate
  
  You will bring:
• In-Depth Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of children's services.
• Leadership Experience: A proven track record in leading performance, policy, and strategy teams, working closely with senior managers, stakeholders, partners, and Elected Members.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver this in a meaningful way to a wide audience supporting a system wide consistent understanding of our performance and drive evidence-based improvements.
• Project and Change Management: Experience in leading successful projects and improvement programmes., This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
