Full Job Description
We are looking for an inspiring leader with the vision, drive and innovation to transform services, the ability to enthuse and motivate people and the skills to work effectively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders. Reporting into the Strategic Director - Place you will take responsibility for planning service including planning policy, development management and building control. As a key member of the Directorate leadership team, you will work across the organisation and with external partners to secure our place ambitions. As the Council's lead advisor on planning matters you will be advising senior officers and members on key matters. As a member of the Royal Town Planning institute, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivery and management experience.

Salary from £76,440 to £90,509 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus a flexible benefits allowance of £3,731 and vehicle allowance of £2,600 per annum
