Full Job Description

This is a key role in the growth of Bupa's Secondary Healthcare businesses across the Cromwell, Basinghall, London Medical and further acquisitions within Health Services. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and lead a team of finance professionals. Further, you will work alongside Directors of Legal, Commercial, IT and Strategy teams.,

  • Lead pricing and procurement decision-making support across Bupa's secondary Health Care business
  • Strategic planning and direction relating to third-party payor relationships in collaboration with Cromwell leadership
  • Manage a team of analysts, contract negotiators, and procurement leads (team is responsible for £300m of pricing contracts)
  • Re-negotiate contracts with payors and develop pricing strategies in line with 3 Year Plan
  • Partner with Procurement and Pharmacy to optimise supply chain management
  • Work closely with Director of Business Development
  • Support M&A agenda and be a key member of the Finance leadership team

    Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with significant post-qualification experience
  • Private Hospital Experience (commercial, pricing, analytics)
  • Private Medical Insurance Experience (commercial, pricing, analytics)
  • Experience in running Healthcare as a provision
  • Leadership skills including senior stakeholder management, influencing skills, management, coaching
  • Strong negotiation skills and contracts experience
  • Analytical with strong communication skills
