Why this role matters

The Head of Product Strategy and Communications will play a key role in driving the product strategy for Vonages API businesses, as well as supporting key projects and initiatives across the organization
In this role, you will drive both short-term and medium-term strategic priorities. This includes working across the business to identify and align on key initiatives for annual planning, supporting go-to-market readiness on major launches, and scoping product opportunities.

What you will do

Lead the annual planning process for the API team, including working closely with stakeholders in sales, marketing and finance to interlock on priority initiatives, forecasting business benefits, and ensuring that priorities are represented in product roadmaps
Monitor execution against the plan and proactively communicate and describe impact to stakeholders
Work with Product & Engineering leadership to define OKRs and track performance
Conduct research and analysis on market trends, competition, product & sales performance and customer needs to:
Support Product leaders in setting their product vision
Drive product prioritization
Identify opportunities
Help define whats next for the business, with a focus on market and opportunity sizing and identifying key requirements/gaps
Support go-to-market for major initiatives, and provide strategic consultation and insights to the Product team around key gtm activities such as; defining the customer experience, developing the value proposition, setting the pricing strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Keep engaged with market developments and share with product team colleagues how they could represent new threats or opportunities

What is required for application
Required

10+ years of experience in strategy, product management, propositions or product marketing

Desirable

Experience in the B2B space
Prior work experience in the SaaS and Cloud Communications industries
Experience commissioning or conducting customer research
Product innovation experience
Data analytics experience
