Head of Project Management

This new 'Head of Project Management' shall be responsible for both establishing and growing the team, on a range of projects across commercial, residential and mixed-use, in the Northwest and North of England, for both well-established and new clients which includes but is not limited to Developers, Housebuilders, Investors and Public Sector.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Director (or Associate) of Project Management, to establish a Project Management team, working alongside the long-established Building Surveying team of a market leading and highly reputable Property Consultancy, in its' Manchester office.,

• At least 5 years of notable project experience, on multimillion pound schemes across the North/Northwest, working for a UK based consultancy
• possess a range of build experience, across a range of sectors, including, commercial, residential, mixed-sue projects etc.
• possess a construction related degree
• preferably have achieved Chartered status with the RICS or CIOB.
• have a firm grasp of technical Project Management and needs of the construction industry
• have strong contract administration experience
• be able to lead junior members of the team
• be competent when meeting with all clients, and up selling the services within the firm
• have contacts with other specialist consultants and contractors
• have a good understanding of the full development timeline, from feasibility, tender and delivery to handover
• good business development skills to help grow this side of a new business line.
