Full Job Description

We're looking for a Head of Referrals & Placements to lead and develop our referral management, assessment, and service commissioning functions. This pivotal leadership role will support Kisimul's strategic growth across our children and adult services and ensure we continue to match the needs of those we support with quality, tailored services. You'll oversee strategic business development, ensure seamless referral processes, and foster relationships with internal and external partners. You'll need a blend of strategic planning, leadership experience, and social care expertise to succeed in this role. What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Leadership of Referrals & Placements: Lead the strategic management of referral generation, assessment, and placement delivery.
  • Business Development: Identify new markets, partnerships, and opportunities to support sustainable growth and reputation.
  • Operational Accountability: Ensure the delivery of high-quality referral and assessment processes while maintaining strong KPIs.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Collaborate with senior leaders to assess financial outlooks, forecast revenue and occupancy levels, and identify risks.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a team, fostering strong relationships across operational and strategic teams.
  • External Insight: Use market knowledge to guide Kisimul's strategic growth and ensure our services remain forward-thinking and impactful.
  • Budget Contribution: Partner with the finance team to support annual budget setting and contribute to fee strategies., Drive and passion to promote the amazing outcomes that the Kisimul services deliver.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within own team and with other internal departments to ensure information and workflow is optimised
  • Act as a facilitator and bridge between operations teams, business support teams and the wider Commercial team
  • Ability to forecast, report and record effectively and accurately in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Delivering revenue and occupancy budgets.
  • Key stakeholder relationship management and networking.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to motivate others, support development and review performance.
  • Chairing meetings.
  • Work in a way that engages positively with issues of diversity and difference.
  • Strong skill set in Microsoft, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to positively manage client relationships within a complex matrix stakeholder environment.
  • Ability to meet targets and evidence of working in a team to develop and implement business growth strategies and campaigns.
  • Ability to network, liaise and hold senior level relationships with the most important partner agencies.
