Full Job Description

You will work as part of the Director of Research Services Senior Leadership team and will play a key role in the University's ambitious five-year Transforming Research Support Programme. to update existing Research Services with the latest generation integrated solutions that enable more effective management of the entire research lifecycle.,

  • Lead and manage the Research Data and Digital Services team in the Research Office
  • Operate at scale and provide the connection between multidisciplinary business areas and stakeholders
  • Ensure the necessary business processes are followed
  • Participate in the governance of the service, including acting as a point of escalation for the delivery teams
  • Manage budgets and work in partnership with data, IT and digital teams to allocate funds based on your prioritisation
  • Communicate the benefits and performance of services
  • Be responsible for the successful operation and continuous improvement of a portfolio of integrated services

    We are looking for candidates with:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of implementing, maintaining and supporting systems within a large organisation
  • Experience of delivering professional customer service to ensure service provision and drive continuous improvement
  • A proven record of leadership including contributing to strategic planning.
