Full Job Description

Head of Sales Education within the UK is fully accountable for creating a strategy for educating our sales and service people across our portfolio of customer solutions as well as assisting to cascade any company changes that will impact their customer facing roles. This role feeds into a larger European model and so you should have competency working within a diverse and geographically spread team, with the ability to drive change and promote collaboration across multiple cultures. What you'll do

  • Ownership, strategic direction, delivery and reporting with recommendations for education calls and classroom courses.
  • Support and collaboration within sales education events both physical and virtual
  • Ownership & continuous improvement of New Joiner Onboarding process, supporting movers that change into a sales role
  • Attendance to any Account Reviews that you are requested to join
  • Ownership of a monthly Education Forum with UK leadership and an annual report to provide insights into achievements and output of the team over the course of that year. This will also include a high-level plan that will be executed against for the upcoming year.
  • You will work closely with; -
  • HR to allow a seamless handover from personal development within L&D through to education across our sales portfolio. This includes being familiar with the progression plans of our salespeople and inputting to these where appropriate
  • Marketing to ensure collateral is helpful to our salespeople and relevant to our target market
  • Sales Operations to find routes to measure the success of our education programmes through increased revenue demonstrated within Salesforce
  • Change, comms & collaboration supporting large programmes of change as they need to educate the salesforce
  • Head of Solutions and CTO in the creation of new training material and identifying better ways to support our salesforce in a regular monthly meeting
  • What you'll need The ideal candidate for this role will be driven, comfortable to multitask, creative and comfortable sharing their ideas and opinions with senior leadership within the UK and European Sales and Services team. A general technical understanding would be beneficial but can be developed when in role. Stakeholder management is critical and the ability to drive tasks to completion creating and presenting evidence to demonstrate the overall impact of this function on growth of the sales division (Country Unit). They will also need to be collaborative and creative with a passion for sales and the ability to deliver under pressure. Due to the complexity of our business, they will need to be inquisitive and must be able to demonstrate capacity to start and finish projects that drive business value to the broader organisation. The role will require some out of hours engagement as a number of our educational calls begin at 8.30am due to being a global organisation.
