Head of Sciences

The role of Head of Sciences encompasses a broad range of responsibilities aimed at managing and enhancing the quality of education across the Science Department. This individual is responsible for overseeing the three key scientific disciplines-Biology, Chemistry, and Physics-while working closely with the Heads of Departments (HODs) to ensure the smooth operation of each subject area.

Start date: September 2025

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time

Salary: As per Wellingborough School Teachers' Pay Scale, plus Middle Leadership Responsibility Allowance.

Reporting to: SLT
