Full Job Description

We're searching for a visionary Head of Service to lead our Together and Youth Connex Services. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional care and support, guiding a passionate team, and ensuring our mission shines through every service we provide. What You'll Do:

  • Shape the strategic direction of our services, aligning with our core values which are
  • + Inclusive - Everyone should be valued equally, listened to, and included. + Listen and involve people to make choices about how they live their lives. + Creative - We try new and innovative ways to work with and support people to have fulfilled lives.
  • Be accountable for the operational performance of a range of community facing services for adults with learning disabilities and children with SEND across Harrow, Hillingdon and Ealing, ensuring high quality care and support is offered.
  • Oversee service quality and delivery across teams, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Inspire and lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and improvement.
  • Maintain efficient service delivery within budget while driving innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Be able to provide dynamic and effective leadership and to lead and develop your team
  • To provide effective supervision and guidance.
  • Strong strategic planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact.
  • Able to work under pressure and with flexibility
  • Successful track record of project planning and delivery
  • Successful track record of building partnerships with measurable outcomes
  • Experience of writing successful funding applications and tenders
  • Experience of quality assuring services
  • An understanding of the effects of discrimination and a commitment to equality and diversity
  • A good knowledge and understanding of Care Act and Children's and Families regulations/standards.
