Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced manager to the role of Head of Services (Wales). This is an exciting career development opportunity. The role is to:

  • Lead and monitor all aspects of the management of the designated adult services, including development and strategy; growing the number and range of services in your area
  • Support Service and Registered Managers in the effective management and quality of all services and in the compliance with care standards legislation and NAS ethos, policies and procedures.
  • Take a lead role in the Project management of adult service developments.

    We know you will bring with you extensive knowledge of the adult services directorate and the current issues facing our services. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a track record of evaluating and monitoring service delivery, a passion and drive for improvement and commercial acumen to ensure the stability of services within a challenging financial and people context.
  • Bringing a collaborative and engaging approach to managing services, you should equally be able to make difficult decisions, have difficult conversations and be able to face challenge ensuring the needs of the people we support and our colleagues who provide that support are front and centre., We do reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications. To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.

    Head of Services We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation, whether as tenants or owner occupiers, living alone, or with others. We have come a long way but there is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for people on the spectrum.     This is a Full Time/Permanent Position, working 35 Hours Per Week. The Salary for this role starts from £54,080.00 to £56,397.87 Per Annum (Depending on Experience). What we can offer you:
