Full Job Description

To lead and operationally manage the adults social work service based at CPFT.
To undertake and fulfil delegated statutory duties and functions under a Section 75 PartnershipAgreement with Peterborough City and Cambridgeshire County Councils (NHS Act 2006 and NHS Bodies and Local Authorities Partnership Arrangements Regulations 2000
Manage delivery of high quality, effective and efficient statutory social work services responding to working-aged adults with mental ill-health needs, that meets legislative requirements, local policies and procedures, and national best practice guidance
Line manage the SW Team managers in CCC & PCC including the AMHP Team Manager
Actively monitor financial performance to meet identified budgets, participate in annual budget setting processes with local authority colleagues; and provide accurate exception reports, and action plans to mitigate and manage risk when required
Hold responsibility for the management of risk; including the timely identification of safeguarding adults' concerns, completion of S42 Enquiries and organisational risk in terms of the standards of operational social work service delivery
Actively participate in the development and implementation of the social work service, organisational strategy, and policy
To work in positive and pro-active collaboration with the Trust Professional Lead for Social Work to deliver the principle aim and objectives of the current and any future Mental Health Section 75 Partnership Agreement
