Head of Software Defined Systems

Reporting to the VP of Digital & Software, you will be responsible for the creation and use of systems engineering processes and tools to robustly architect complex and software defined systems to meet customer expectations across all domains. You will be supporting the team in design, engineering, testing and validation of all systems in the vehicle electrical architecture for our current and next generation electric vehicles. What you'll do

• Building a high performing technical team ensuring we have a breadth and expertise to meet project demands
• Lead and mentor the team to actively contributing to technical solutions for specific challenges and utlise expertise and experience to improve results
• Leading the design and refinement of systems engineering processes and operational procedures across Forseven
• Ensure the correct tools are equipment are in place to deliver technical solutions for multiple projects
• Working closely with partners and suppliers to bridge the gap between product definition and commodity delivery, creating efficient solutions through the application of systems engineering principles
• Develop and contribute to the development of the strategic plans and technical roadmaps
  
  Engineering related degree or equivalent experience within the automotive experience
• Experience as a strong leader, whilst managing teams and providing technical guidance
• Experience in influencing technical strategies and project outcomes
• You have a 'can do' attitude and are always focused on achieving great results with a track record of delivering various projects
• A calm multitasker who successfully manages, priorities, and executes against tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
