Full Job Description

Working closely with the Director of EFM, the Finance Team, the Hospital Operations Management Team(s) and the Trust Leadership Team (TLT). The role of the Head of Strategic Healthcare Planning is critical in ensuring the effective planning, commissioning, and execution of healthcare strategies within Homerton Healthcare. This position requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep knowledge of healthcare systems., Establish and manage a Demand and Capacity model alongside the Trust Business Information (BI) team to support strategic planning and drive strategic decisions by analysing healthcare data and trends.
Establishing collaboration on population health management by working with public health entities to address broader healthcare challenges within the community and appropriate interventions and alternatives to capital investment.
Ensuring that investment proposals are aligned with the healthcare planning trajectories to meet the needs of the local population, maximising investment opportunities.
Responsible for liaising with public health entities to address broader healthcare challenges within the community and implementation plans within the Trust. This involves extensive collaboration with clinical and managerial staff across multidisciplinary teams and externally to identify strategic priorities and develop actionable plans for service improvement.
