Calderdale College is seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to take on the pivotal role of Head of Student Experience and Wellbeing. In this role, you will lead the charge in fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and supportive space where students excel academically, personally, and professionally. You will drive student engagement, champion their wellbeing, and help them achieve their full potential-securing high grades, positive progressions, and preparing them for success in work and life beyond college. A key responsibility in this role is to be the College's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students is paramount. You will be instrumental in leading safeguarding efforts, working with staff to maintain a safe and secure environment, and addressing any safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively. Your leadership will ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, while also supporting the development of a culture of vigilance and care. We're looking for an exceptional, well-qualified professional with a proven track record in student engagement, recruitment and wellbeing. A strong understanding of safeguarding practices, funding systems, curriculum infrastructures and leadership are essential.
