At Roche, we are seeking a Head of Supply Chain and Customer Services to join our dynamic Finance and Operations Leadership Team. You will develop and lead a team of 100 individuals committed to provide industry leading service to our patients and customers in the UK, Ireland, and European Agencies (Cyprus, Malta and Iceland). In this position you will shape the supply chain and customer services strategy in line with local needs, considering regional and global directives; while delivering on our customer promises and constantly striving for operational efficiency. The Opportunity Strategy & Innovation:
- Lead the implementation of local, regional, and global supply chain initiatives, demonstrating project management and networking capabilities.
- Deploy and deliver the EMEA LATAM strategic focus areas within the country.
- Represent our affiliate in the EMEA LATAM Supply Chain Leadership Team and drive strategic initiatives to establish Supply Chain as a competitive edge.
- Challenge the status quo, with the aim to deliver better solutions to our patients and customers with outstanding customer experience, while growing our operational efficiency
- Identify and develop local talents in support of regional and global talent pools Operations:
- Lead and guide the Supply Chain and Customer Services functions, including the National Distribution Center Operations (Warehouse), creating a stimulating and motivational workplace that attracts, develops, and retains high performers.
- Ensure operational excellence, sustainability and compliance within your area of responsibility
- Act as the country link to key stakeholders locally and globally
- Attain key performance deliverables such as inventory levels, distribution costs, and write-offs
- Oversee day-to-day operations, focusing on resolving critical issues related to product deliver, order and invoice management.
- Liaise with external parties, including customers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers. Who You Are: You are a dynamic strategist who thrives in complex and international environments with the focus on high quality and on time delivery of our life changing solutions to customers. Further you will have:
- Significant experience in Supply Chain and Customer Service, with proven track record in delivering outstanding performance in complex, international settings
- Substantial leadership experience in complex settings, with the ability to leverage networks within internal and external Supply Chain communities.International work experience preferred.
- University Degree/MBA preferred or equivalent qualifications. Additionally, you will:
- Exhibit mindset and behaviours consistent with a Visionary, Architect, Coach, and Catalyst.
- Role model an open feedback culture, encouraging two-way communication and crucial (caring) conversations.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for navigating and influencing stakeholders at various levels of the organisation, locally and globally
- Proven ability to effectively lead and facilitate change within the organisation.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial, commercial, and customer-centric mindset, understanding the impact of supply chain decisions within the ecosystem.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Have strong experience in project management, process improvement, and priority setting.
- Be knowledgeable in warehousing, distribution, 3PL management, and Supply Chain Quality Standards.
