The GelBottle Inc. is on a huge growth trajectory, and we are looking to further grow our team with a interim Head of Supply and Demand who would enjoy working within a fast paced, vibrant and founder led business, spanning multiple B2B and B2C brands.

Responsibilities

This pivotal role will be responsible for leading and optimising our supply chain operations, ensuring a seamless balance between supply and demand across all our channels. This role has the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. Your role will cover:

Strategic Planning & Demand Forecasting

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply and demand planning strategies to support business growth and objectives.

  • Utilise advanced forecasting techniques to predict demand trends for all channels.

  • Monitor market trends, sales data, and customer insights to adjust forecasts and ensure accuracy.


  • Inventory Management & Supply Chain Optimisation

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimising excess and obsolescence.

  • Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, and logistics.


  • Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable and high-quality supply of raw materials and finished products.


  • Performance Metrics and Reporting

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicator

    You'll be a driven and experienced professional looking to lead our Operations department. As a key player in our organisation, you will drive innovation and excellence in supply chain management, demand forecasting, and inventory optimisation, leveraging your deep understanding of the beauty industry.


  • You will bring your leadership experience to inspire and guide teams within a start-up or scale-up environment, demonstrating your ability to lead with passion and expertise.

  • Industry Expertise: knowledge of the beauty industry (and/or FMCG) and its unique supply chain requirements.

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in start-up or scale-up environments.

  • Process Improvement: Strong skills in implementing and optimising systems and processes for maximum efficiency.
