Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented Head of Tesco Media Seasonal Propositions responsible for managing Tesco led media propositions and Seasonal Events to create exciting and engaging customer experiences whilst sustainably growing revenue from Tescoââ(¬â"¢s CPG partners. You will play an important role in driving the strategic direction for Events and Propositions at an exciting time of transformational change for the Tesco media business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the management of CPG funded instore and online Events and key Customer Propositions plan (Value, Events, Inspiration, Brand and Reputation), which includes the commercial reporting, development and governance with key stakeholders at Tesco.

  • Lead the strategic direction for this area of the business, building out an effective strategy that lays out how we should evolve events to maximise media revenues, along with the processes to deliver on it

  • Work with dunnhumby insights capabilities to develop unique customer insights to support the sales process to the CPG community and internal sales teams

  • Craft compelling and inspiring sales narratives for the events and propositions that engage and upskill the sales teams, empowering them to sell the solutions maximising revenue potential

  • Demonstrate the ability to influence supplier/retailer decision making with respect to marketing and media programs in order to provide customer solutions

  • Collaborate with immediate and wider media/insight teams to develop and execute best in class plans

  • Build effective networks with key stakeholders at Tesco across the Customer and Proposition teams to enable the delivery of the strategy

  • Collaborate with internal support teams provide input into helping shape and launch emerging solutions

  • Collaborate with Tesco and dunnhumby marketing to generate market leading collateral and PR that builds the external narrative

    5+yrs experience in Media planning and working with CPGs, Retailers or Agencies

  • Understanding of events within grocery retail.

  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, role has a large number of stakeholders.

  • Media Planning or retail background.
