Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated CCAB Qualified Accountant to join the finance team. We are looking for a driven individual who is self-motivated, pro-active with excellent planning and organisational skills. The post holder is required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The post holder will lead the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) services. They will be supported by an AP and an AR manager, who will be responsible for ensuring that the teams deliver to timetable and quality standards are achieved.

The post holder must be able to drive process changes, continuously seeking improvement in all that the teams do, and with a strong customer service focus at the forefront of all that they do.

Proposed interview date: 3rd December 2024

The post holder will support the monthly and year-end reporting cycles, ensuring that balances are correctly stated. They will ensure that the profile of payments and debts for future years reconciles to the available cash and funding streams.

The post holder must have significant experience in roles within NHS finance and be fully committed to continuous professional development.
