Full Job Description

As Head of Group Treasury, you'll manage the Group Treasury department and chair the Treasury Committee, incorporating development and implementation of Group treasury risk management policies for Foreign Exchange, Investing, Cash Management, Interest Rate Exposures, Counterparty Risk, and Banking Documentation, together with supporting policies as regards systems, accounting, reporting, and control, to ensure that treasury risks are effectively managed and returns maximised within the context of the approved Group treasury strategy.,

  • Develop and communicate agreed treasury policies and processes, monitor adherence and ensure assets are protected and maximised

  • Present reporting and policy updates to Audit Committee and Finance Committee

  • Monitor treasury activities in the UK and overseas to ensure compliance

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of investment policy

  • Manage the hedge accounting for foreign exchange deals under FRS 102

  • Ensure FX exposures are identified, forecasts prepared, and reported

  • Identify and track economic and other Treasury data in support of business activities

  • Overseas cash management

    A qualified accountant, and corporate treasurer (MCT), you'll be experienced operating in a role with global reach. You'll also have:

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of treasury management

  • Experience of working at senior level in corporate treasury functions

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong analytical and report writing skills

  • An ability to plan and implement projects to tight deadlines
