Full Job Description

As one of the country's leading developers of affordable housing, we're committed to playing our part in tackling the housing crisis. We've built more social rent homes than any other housing association in the last 4 years, and our Sustainability Finance Framework supports us in achieving this. Over the last year we've secured more than £650 million of sustainable finance to deliver the objectives set out in the Framework, from the delivery of new, affordable, more energy efficient homes to coaching more customers into employment and training.

Our Head of Treasury Operations plays a pivotal role in our mission to create thriving communities. This senior leadership position is crucial in managing our £2bn investment portfolio, driving our corporate strategy, and ensuring the financial health of our organisation.

What You'll Do:
As our new Head of Treasury Operations, you'll be at the heart of our treasury team, working closely with senior stakeholders, including our Board and Executive, to influence decisions that shape the future of social housing and ensure treasury is aligned with our long term business goals.

You'll lead our treasury operations, ensuring we maintain our sector-leading position while delivering on our commitment to sustainability and social impact.

You'll manage relationships with our banking partners, external valuers and legal advisers, and deputise for the Director of Treasury by representing the function at key internal meetings.

You'll lead, coach and develop a high performing treasury operations team.

  • Significant leadership experience in treasury or corporate finance.

  • Strong track record in treasury reporting, risk management, and stakeholder influence at Board level, and a keen desire to drive new thinking and ideas.

  • A professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA) and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Thought leadership in the sector, able to confidently influence and enhance Bromford's reputation through conferences, roundtables and media contributions.

This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, Wolverhampton or Lichfield with regular travel between them. A basic DBS and consumer check are required.
