Full Job Description

  • Secure new market share across the current core competencies of SNAP

  • Create and deliver a strategy for delivering sustainable revenues and margin from new product and services across the UK.

  • Continuous review of business potential and identify potential new opportunities.

  • Deliver a key account management framework, in collaboration with the European team, to retain and grow the value year on year across our collective UK and European fleet customer base leading with technology solutions and creating value for fleets.

  • Oversee a process of regular strategic key account management with our service partners to leverage and identify new opportunities.

  • Present customer and or service partner specific solutions demonstrating clear business value to decision makers. Engage in negotiations and the closing of deals where required.

  • Conduct opportunity assessment for new opportunities, developing recommendations based on financial reward, risk and fit of client requirements versus SNAP's capabilities.

  • Identify the value proposition and high-level solution parameters based on client requirements.

  • Develop a structured plan on how to win the opportunity and drive through your teams for its successful execution.

  • Manage a customer communication loop with our marketing team to ensure we have a customer first focus across all markets with an awareness of cultural differences.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with providers of services to the mobility sector.

  • Collaborate closely with other internal SNAP functional leads to achieve and exceed collective revenue targets from both fleets and service partners.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Establish and maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty client retainment.

  • Address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to its natural conclusion, working closely with the customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Devise appropriate strategies to focus on core service user retention practices to prevent loss of trade through either voluntarily or involuntarily means via targeted KPI objectives.

    Has quantifiable experience gained in an equivalent role, with significant experience in the European logistics industry.

  • Is fluent and strong in communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

  • Has a full, clean driving license with the willingness to undertake UK-wide travel and overnight stays where required for the proper performance of the role to be carried out.

  • A Degree in a business management field or the equivalent would be a bonus but is not critical.

  • Has relevant experience partnering in a high volume, client-focused environment and the ability to advise, guide and influence as needed.

  • Can use data to find root causes and develop short, medium and long-term plans.

  • Displays critical thinking and credible presentational capability.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, SharePoint and other relevant electronic digital portal proficiency.

  • Advanced communication (written and oral) techniques used across various forums

    We currently have an opportunity for a Head of UK Strategy and Business Development to join our team at SNAP in Norwich working Monday to Friday 35hrs per week


  • you will support our teams to generate enhanced revenue, margin, and profitability through strategic developments with existing and new partners. The introduction and management of a healthy quantifiable UK pipeline via strategic planning, targeted sales lead management, prospecting for new customers and service partners. Build a robust network of key industry contacts, attending key trade shows, keeping up to date with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors.
