Head Porter

We are currently recruiting for a Head Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Leeds, LS1.
40 hours per week, Permanent, five days out of seven

The Head Porter Role will include general up keep of the kitchen; from pot washing, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and cleaning.
The Head Porter will also be responsible for store management. Accepting and processing deliveries, with the responsibility of maintaining clean stores and walk-ins.
Opportunity for overtime with occasional evening and weekend event/hospitality work
DBS check and financial checks will be required
Start and finish times may differ based on the needs of the business but will range from 07.00-17.00 and will be communicated through the kitchen rota.
Available to start ASAP once the checks have been complete.

+ Have experience working in a similar role and environment
+ Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
+ Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
+ Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
+ Have excellent customer service and social skills
+ Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
+ Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 10
+ Be customer focused
+ Have basic food knowledge
+ Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
