Full Job Description

  • Lead the wine program, curating and maintaining the wine list with a focus on quality and diversity.

  • Collaborate with chefs to craft wine pairings that elevate the dining experience.

  • Advise guests on wine selections, offering expert recommendations to enhance their meal.

  • Oversee the management of the wine cellar, ensuring proper storage and inventory.

  • Conduct regular wine tastings and staff training to promote wine knowledge and service excellence.

  • Stay informed on emerging wine trends, regional varieties, and market pricing to keep our offerings dynamic and relevant.

    We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Sommelier to lead our wine program at HUMO. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of wine, an eye for detail, and a deep passion for delivering an extraordinary guest experience. You will work closely with our Head Chef and team to create impeccable wine pairings that complement our "FIRE DINING" concept, enhancing the culinary journey for our guests., WSET Level 3 (required)

  • Proven experience as a Sommelier, preferably in a high-end or fine dining establishment.

  • Passion for wine and gastronomy with a focus on pairing wine with food.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
