Head Veterinary Nurse

We have begun the search for a Head RVN to join us at Doncaster Vets for Pets on temporary basis whilst our Head Nurse is on maternity leave!

This role is perfect if you'd like to dip your toe into a Head Nurse role on a trial basis, or if you're currently a locum but considering some stability over the next 6-9 months financially. Maybe you've got previous experience in this position and would just like to work in a great practice with a fantastic team and see where it takes you!

You'll be joining a hard-working and inclusive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. We have a team of talented Receptionists to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively. You'll work with 2 RVNs, with a third joining in September, 2 SVNs and 2 VCAs.

This position is full-time, with no out of hours or late nights. There is a Saturday rota of 1 in 4 (8.30am-5pm) to keep it fair for everyone, but no Sundays.

Doncaster Vets4Pets is based on the Wentworth Road, just off of the A630, providing great access for our clients. This isn't your standard general practice; we see a wide range of cases and carry out a number of major surgeries. No two days are the same here, and you will widen your skills, test your knowledge and have plenty of variety to keep you busy!
