We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HealthCare Assistant to join a Position we are recruiting for at a School in Reigate, We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team at an SEN school in Reigate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our students' health and wellbeing, working alongside teachers, therapists, and other support staff.,

  • Provide personal care support to students, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and independence are upheld
  • Assist with feeding, dressing, mobility, and other daily care tasks as required
  • Monitor students health needs and assist with the administration of medication, in line with school policies
  • Work closely with teaching and therapeutic staff to support individual learning and care plans
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students, promoting an inclusive and nurturing environment
  • Maintain accurate health records, adhering to confidentiality and safeguarding policies at all times
  • Be prepared to respond to emergencies, following the school s health and safety procedures

    The School are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support students 1:1 and in small groups. This is a full-time role and will be with a view to going permanent., Previous experience in a Health Care Assistant or similar role, preferably within an SEN, education, or healthcare setting
  • Basic First Aid qualification (or a willingness to complete training)
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Desirable:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with students who have physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or medical needs
  • Knowledge of handling and mobility equipment
